During the WWDC 2023 event, Apple introduced the eagerly awaited iOS 17, bringing a number of interesting enhancements and improvements for iPhone customers.
One of the standout changes is Standby mode, which turns the iPhone into a useful nightstand clock with widgets. The Messages app has also had a complete revamp, providing users with a modern and user-friendly interface.
Another unique feature is Live Voicemail, which allows for real-time transcription of voicemail messages. Apple also released the Journal app, which enables users to easily record their thoughts and take pictures throughout the day in a confidential and safe manner. iOS 17 aims to improve the overall user experience on Apple devices with these new features and more.
The Following Are iOS 17’s Primary Selling Points :
Real-Time Voicemail with Live Captioning
Users can now verify real-time translations of recorded messages thanks to a new Live Voicemail feature in iOS 17.
Additional FaceTime Features
If a call is missed, users can also leave video messages on FaceTime. Search filters and the ability to react to messages by swiping the text are enhancements for iMessages. Audio communications are also automatically translated. A new location sharing feature in iMessage makes location sharing even simpler. A new design for the iMessage app hides apps and the camera behind a plus button.
Maps for offline use and enhanced Air Drop
Maps may now be used offline, allowing users to navigate even without an internet connection. Any photo can be turned into a sticker, and motion images can be used to make “Live stickers.” Additionally, third-party apps now support stickers. By just bringing their phones close together, users of AirDrop may now exchange phone numbers with others.

With SharePlay, iPhone users may sync up live streams or music, improving the experience of watching and listening together. Additionally, Apple released a brand-new software called Journal that enables users to schedule notifications for the beginning or end of the day and record moments.
